OUR COMMITMENT TO SECURITY, PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
            Secured Data Services is committed to protecting the security, privacy and confidentiality of public and non public information provided to us by employers, companies, individuals, and government agencies. All information is respectfully treated as private and confidential.
 
CHOICE OF DISCLOSURE
            If you are a U.S. resident and you do not wish to have your personal data made available to our client (your current or prospective employer or business partner venture), please do not authorize our client to obtain a consumer or investigative consumer report by submitting any such information to us through our client or this web site. By submitting information, you are agreeing to allow Secured Data Services to disclose information about you to our client and share information about you to our subcontractors. You have the rights and responsibilities as afforded under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a copy of which may be obtained from your employer or prospective employer or business venture partner. 
            If you are a European Union resident or reside in a country where Secured Data Services conducts business, you may choose to not submit personal information to Secured Data Services through this web site or through forms provided by our client for purpose. By filling out a consent, authorization or disclosure forms, you expressly agree to provide personally-identifying information, and you consent to our use of that information in accordance with Secured Data Services privacy policy.
                       
NOTICE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
            Secured Data Services collects personal and non personal information on individuals and businesses in connection with preparing consumer reports for our clients. During the normal course of business we collect information or access information on companies and individuals which may include but is not limited to name, address, telephone number, social security number, birth date, employment, driver’s license, criminal history, and other public and non public information. We obtain this information from both private and public sources from applications, forms, releases, public records, employers, emails, and other sources. The information we collect is used to verify the accuracy of personal information provided by applicants and others, to identify and match records to individuals, to prevent fraud, locator services, normal business use, to identify the users of our systems, and for other legal permissible uses. 
 
INFORMATION WE SHARE
            Secured Data Services never sells or otherwise uses company or individual data stored  electronically or physically for other than the use for which it was originally provided or requested.  Information is not shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the request and with the permission of the subject of the request. It is used only for the original purpose for which the information was provided or obtained. We do not disclose any personal or non personal information about current or former clients or individuals, except as required or permitted by law. The information collected and maintained is never compiled, collected, or sold to an outside third party entity for any purpose.
 
ONWARD TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
            In connection with providing services, we may in some instances, employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. All such contractors and subcontractors are contractually obligated to use and maintain confidentiality of personal information in a manner consistent to this Privacy Policy. These companies may not share any such information with any third party other than Secured Data Services’ subcontractors of clients. Except as required by law, we will not use, share, or disclose any of your personally-identifying information that you provide or that we collect from third parties or other sources.
           
ACCESS
            All persons have the right to access any of the reports that Secured Data Services produces or maintains on them. You may contact Secured Data Services at any time as set out in this Privacy Policy to determine whether we hold any personal information about you and to obtain that information. U.S. residents’ rights and responsibilities in regard to the access of information about them are outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. 
            For your protection and the protection of your information, we may require proof of identity, including proper identification and confirmation that you are the individual who is entitled to request access before providing any information to you. 
            If you are a European Union resident or resident of a country where Secured Data Services conducts business, all individuals may correct, amend, or delete the information where it is inaccurate, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual’s privacy in the case in question or where the rights of a person other than the individual would be violated.  If we are unable to provide you with access to your data or correct data, we will inform you of such and the reason why access is not available.   
 
DATA INTEGRITY
            Secured Data Services takes all appropriate measures to insure that the data we gather, store, and transmit is reliable, accurate, complete, and as current as possible. Personal information collected is assured relevant for the purpose for which it is used.
           
SECURITY - HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
            Secured Data Services restricts access to information based on legal permissible use and an appropriate business need to know. Information is available to our employees on this need to know basis. All employees are trained, expected and required to follow privacy requirements. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with local, State, and Federal regulations.
            Any personal information transmitted to our web site is protected by a secure socket layer (SSL) key which encrypts the data transmitted to or from Secured Data Services. We log the IP addresses of those users who log into our systems as is required by law.
            Information provided to us is used exclusively by Secured Data Services. The information we retain physically and electronically is used only with legal permissible use as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Driver’s Privacy Protection Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, Gramm-Leach-Bailey Act, U.S. Federal Trade Commission rules and regulations, European Union Data Protection Directive, or other applicable law.           
 
INFORMATION STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
            The information provided to us is stored in a secure location and it is only accessible to those who have been trained and have a right to access that information. Secured Data Services maintains facilities and systems to protect information from unauthorized persons.
            All information with company or individual names or information is destroyed by shredding, electronic eraser, or other physical destruction prior to disposal in compliance with U.S. federal law.
